2021 Spring Conference
Out of an abundance of caution and with the best interests of all those involved, the IAAPPA Board of Directors has decided the Spring Conference scheduled for April 13 and 14, 2021, at Prairie Meadows in Altoona is canceled. We are basing this decision on the ever evolving COVID-19 public health threat, the limitations imposed on large group meetings, and not wanting to contribute to the spread of the pandemic.
As Facilities Management professionals, we feel it is important to honor current restrictions many of our respective institutions have implemented. Knowing that a number of our invitees and business partners are affected by domestic travel bans, it is prudent to make the decision now to cancel.
We are disheartened that we are unable to hold this event in April 2021 for our State of Iowa Facilities Management peers, but we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today.
